May Saffar is an educator, author, nonprofit leader, and professional development specialist with more than 25 years of experience in education. Throughout her career, she has served as an ESL teacher, curriculum developer, instructional coach, college instructor, and educational consultant, helping educators strengthen literacy, language instruction, and student achievement.
As the Founder and President of *Teacher For Teachers, Inc.*, a Maryland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, May is dedicated to empowering educators through high-quality, research-based professional learning. The organization provides practical training, coaching, and consulting that equips teachers with effective, evidence-based instructional strategies they can immediately apply in their classrooms. Teacher For Teachers partners with schools, districts, and educational organizations to improve teaching practices, promote educational equity, and increase student success.
May specializes in supporting teachers of multilingual learners and striving readers, with expertise in literacy development, English language instruction, differentiated instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and classroom engagement. Her workshops combine educational research with real-world classroom experience, making them practical, interactive, and immediately impactful for educators.
Over the course of her career, May has trained hundreds of educators and contributed to improved learning outcomes for thousands of students across the East Coast of the United States. She is passionate about building teacher capacity because she believes that investing in educators creates lasting change for students, schools, and communities.

is a reproductive physiologist and educator with over three decades of experience in biomedical research, clinical embryology, and community engagement. She holds a Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from Virginia Tech and has worked in leading IVF and reproductive medicine centers in both the U.S. and Jordan, including King Hussein Medical Center and West Virginia University Health Associates.
In addition to her scientific career, Dr. Odeh has taught Arabic at the university level and has been an active community leader, serving on school boards and interfaith councils. Her work bridges science, education, and service, reflecting her deep commitment to advancing women’s health and fostering inclusive learning environments.
is a detail-oriented business professional with a strong background in operations management, client relations, and forensic mental health. She currently serves as the Comptroller for KDS Contracting, LLC. Aubrey is strategic in her focus on financial oversight and operational efficiency, Aubrey plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth and client satisfaction.
Aubrey holds a Master of Science in Forensic Mental Health and a Bachelor of Science in Law and Society from The Sage Colleges, where she also completed coursework in business ethics, finance, and economics. Her early experience with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office helped develop her strengths in communication, discretion, and organizational integrity—skills she now brings to the private sector. Known for her adaptability, professionalism, and customer service excellence, Aubrey continues to apply her multidisciplinary expertise to ensure streamlined operations and client-first solutions in every aspect of her work.
Born in Russia in 1962 to an English mother and Iraqi father, I spent my formative years in Iraq before moving to the UK aged 19. Graduated from collage with a diploma in electrical installation. Worked for years as a freelance photographer, a bookseller and a cafe owner before my current job in property maintenance of a string of restaurants. I live in Wales with my wife of 35 years. I’m a father of 2 and grandfather of 1. I’ve always had an interest in pedagogy and the role of education in shaping a healthy society.
